Hello again, dear friends of Faith Churches in Bulgaria!
What the world needs more than ever is JESUS. Jesus Christ is the answer to the world’s problems today! That is why we must preach the Gospel, so that Bulgaria may kindle the fire of revival for the Balkans and for all Europe — from east to west, from north to south.
11 August 2026 Serbia
I am happy to share that we opened a new House of Prayer in the city of Leskovac, Serbia. It was a magnificent celebration. The Roma church there is very vibrant and active. Roma leaders from across Serbia gathered, and we experienced a powerful move of the Spirit. I thank God that we had the opportunity to help with the construction of this new house of prayer. Other churches from Bulgaria also sowed into this work. I had the honor of being one of the speakers at this special, blessed service.
12 August 2026 North Macedonia
We visited the city of Štip, North Macedonia. In the photos, you see Pastor Angel Pavlov standing in front of the newly constructed church building there. People will gather for worship services within this metal structure, while the adjacent house will be used to accommodate guests and host children’s and youth ministries, among other activities. This is not merely an active local church, but a resource center for North Macedonia and the Balkans. It is important to lift this church up in prayer until its final completion. I believe an official opening could take place before Christmas, though processes are still underway. It is well worth investing our prayerful and financial support in places like this.
… and some updates from Bulgaria
I visited the “New Beginning” church in the Fakulteta district of Sofia with Pastor Yanko Yankov. Worship services are already being held there, though some finishing work remains. I believe the building can be completed by Christmas.
Here are a few photos from the church in the village of Asenevtsi, near the town of Levski, where electrical wiring and underfloor heating are currently being installed and renovation work is underway.
The last photos are from the church in the village of Karadzhovo, near Plovdiv. From the very beginning, the church was packed and began to transform the life of the entire village. About 80% of the local people have attended the church, and 50 to 60 of them have been baptized in water. There are many testimonies from people who were addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, and pornography, and who had been unfaithful or abusive toward their wives. They come to church, hear about the Lord, receive water baptism, dedicate themselves to the Lord, and their lives change completely. They give up drinking, smoking, and beating their wives. They leave sin behind and begin to live for God’s righteousness. In doing so, they glorify God and become a blessing to the people around them.
I want to assure you that everything we are doing is worth it. The prayers and financial donations are worthwhile because God is glorified, people are blessed, destinies are transformed, and lives are won for eternity.
