Newsletter, May 2026

I would like to give you a brief report for what we have done in the last month. For God’s Glory it was quite busy time. I believe it was a blessing for all the people and places where God sent us.

In May we had a Missionary Prayer Tour in Turkey. There were 80 of us – 20 from Sofia, 20 from Plovdiv and 40 people from Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Norway. It was a very special prayer time. This prayer tour started from the place that was a springboard for the Gospel in the world – the city of Troas. In the book of Acts of the Apostles, chapter 16, we read that Apostle Paul together with his apostolic team were directed to Troas. Their plans were changed so that they could catch God’s plans. The Holy Spirit used Apostle Paul so that world missions could start from Troas. Then the gospel came for the first time to Europe – to the city of Philippi. Troas in Paul’s time was on the site of ancient Troy, where the Trojan Horse is located. The present-day city, which is located in this place, is called Çanakkale. There we held the first meeting in the prayer tour in Turkey. It was impressive to me that we were able to gather at the Çanakkale Cultural Center and be in prayer for Turkey.

God has placed in my heart that the most important missionary direction for us as the Body of Christ is Turkey, so I want to ignite as many hearts as possible in the Body of Christ in Bulgaria. Of course, God has called us to go to Sofia, Bulgaria, the Balkans, and to the four corners of the world. But there is a special call from God on the Body of Christ for Turkey. Instead of humanly taking revenge or hating, we must supernaturally love, pray, and be instruments for the salvation of many precious human souls. Turkey is the largest harvest field near us – over 80 million live there. It is the cradle of the gospel. Apostle Paul spent most time on missions in Turkey, which was then part of the Roman Empire. The seven churches of Revelation are located in present-day Turkey. God really has something for this place that was a springboard for the Gospel to the world, so that He can visit it again powerfully with His presence and millions of precious human souls to be saved. And the greatest harvest that needs to be harvested before Jesus Christ returns, will happen in our time, when we are called. We had gathered in a meadow, right next to the house where Paul was supposedly holding a leadership conference. It was so long that there were not only daytime sessions, but also evening sessions. After midnight a boy who was leaning against the window on the upper floor fell asleep, fell down and died. Paul went down, prayed for him, God raised him up, they went back together and the conference continued.

We also went to the port from where Paul set out to preach the Gospel in Europe – he arrived in Philippi, Macedonia (today’s Northern Greece), and from there throughout Europe and to the ends of the world. The purpose of this missionary trip was to pray for the hearts of the people in Turkey to be opened to the Gospel and at the same time for us to open our hearts to what God has for us. I believe that we were a part of something that was prophetically and strategically important so that God’s purposes and intentions on this earth could be released. In this prayer tour we were tearing down strongholds of the devil and clearing the ground for God’s plans and intentions in Turkey and in the world.

After Troas (Çanakkale) we went to Tekirdag. Two years ago God used us to start a new church in Tekirdag, with Pastor Dogan Bakircioglu, who will soon be our guest at the CCS along with his family. God is doing very good things in Turkey. Many young people are starting to seek the Lord. Churches in Turkey are usually 100-150 people, but they are mainly made up of foreigners who work there. They are mainly from Africa and Asia, but the locals are very few. Now God is starting something new and that is where our focus is – to help churches with local people. Many young people are calling and emailing saying they want Bibles and need someone to help them understand how to walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. In 2026 alone, organizations that distribute Bibles for free in Turkey have received more calls than in the last 5 years.

Then we were in Istanbul, which is a unique city located on the border between two continents – Europe and Asia, and has a rich church history. The beginning of today’s Istanbul (ancient Constantinople) is connected with church history, because when Christianity stopped being persecuted, Emperor Constantine was looking for a place for a new capital, because the old capital Rome was full of occult buildings of various false gods. This was because every new place and every new people that the Roman Empire conquered had to have priests and a temple in Rome. That’s why the Christians wanted the Roman Empire to have a new capital, where there would only be Christian temples. They found a small town called Byzantium, and turned it into Constantinople, today’s Istanbul. We had a special prayer for Istanbul. We were standing near the Bosphorus – the strait that divided the city into European and Asian parts. We were saying “NO” to Islam and “YES” to the Gospel for Europe, Asia and the entire Muslim world. Turkey is a special key for the rest of the Muslim world and when God does a revival in Turkey, it will spread throughout the Muslim world, that is why our gathering in Istanbul was in the Asian part. For me, all this was not accidental, but it was truly something special that God gave me at that very moment as a strategy and a symbol from the Holy Spirit.

Оn May 30-th 2026, we had a JESUS MARCH. It is wonderful that we have a pastoral fellowship in Sofia – these are pastors with whom we gather and pray together. So we gathered for the Jesus March so that the Church on its birthday – Pentecost – could worship Jesus and exalt Him as Lord and Savior over the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia, so that His blessing could reach every village and city of our country, our people could be blessed, there could be a revival and a great harvest in Bulgaria, so that hell could be emptied and heaven could be filled, in the name of Jesus. The Jesus March demolishes strongholds in the spiritual world. When we lift up the name of Jesus, the strongholds of wickedness, of crime, of violence, of corruption and of all the works of darkness fall down, are destroyed and destroyed, and God’s plans and intentions are established and fulfilled. In the name of Jesus, amen! All this happens through us, the Church.

On Sunday morning we left for the airport pretty early because we had the opening of a new Prayer House and the ordination of a pastor in Munich, Germany. This is a Bulgarian-Roma church. I am very impressed by the work I saw there. We were together with one of God’s servants in Germany – Apostle Borislav Monov. Two years ago there was the ordination of a new pastor in Regensburg, and now – of a new pastor in Munich. They have a Bible school there “I Am That I Am”. This was an opportunity for us, who teach at their school, to also participate in the graduation of their students. So God is working in Bulgaria, in Germany and in other countries in Europe. Bulgaria is becoming more and more of a missionary country, but the main direction we have from the Lord is Turkey.

On 06.06.2026, there was an opening of a new House of Prayer and the ordination of a pastor in the village of Karadjovo, Plovdiv region. It is wonderful that it was not only the opening of a church, but also of the new house of prayer, which is for the church, and the ordination of brother Vasko Angelov as pastor. The village is located between Plovdiv and Chirpan. It is wonderful that God does such new, great, wonderful things in cities and villages, so that Bulgaria can be for Jesus. Thank you for your prayers, so that we can continue to serve the Lord! Thank you for the financial support, so that such prayer houses can be built! The prayer house in the village of Karadjovo was built in just three months thanks to your prayers and your donations. It became a wonderful, white, bright, beautiful church, which gathers 70-80 people. God provided for the chairs, for the equipment and for everything else. Glory to Jesus!
