About the author:
Pastor Ivan Hazarbassanov is the founder of the national Christian network “Churches of Faith in Bulgaria” and the leading pastor of the local church “Christian Center Sofia”. He is a representative for Bulgaria of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. He and his wife Gabriella have three children – George, Joseph, and Tanya-Maria, and serve God with their entire household.
Prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain, Pastor Ivan was a young leader in the persecuted church. In the period of transition from communism to democracy, he actively opposed malicious media propaganda, outrages, and attacks against new churches born after the collapse of totalitarian power, and defended the Christian faith at various levels – from the tribunal to the presidential institution, fighting for freedom for the gospel in Bulgaria.
Pastor Ivan has been invited as a speaker at Christian conferences and seminars both in Bulgaria and abroad. In his messages, he emphasises the practical application of God’s Word. His authentic teaching inspires people and helps them to live by faith every day and to win in every area of their lives.
Through personal testimony and mass evangelism, God’s gift of ministry in the person of Pastor Ivan affirms hope and elevates faith in the hearts of men so that they can personally experience the love of God and the truth of His Word, confirmed by miracles and signs in their lives.
Pastor Ivan and Pastor Gabby lead missionary journeys in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul in Greece and Turkey. They also organise pilgrimage trips to the Holy Land with an emphasis on biblical and New Testament history and the role of Israel in recent times.
My prayer is for the salvation of many precious souls who, by faith in God, will fulfil their destiny for a victorious life in Christ. I look forward to opening up the unreached regions of the Middle East and around the world to the good news.
Jesus Christ is not a religion but a reality. He is alive.
Jesus saves, heals, frees and works miracles today!
